The definition of an artist is wide-ranging and covers a broad spectrum of activities to do with creating art, practicing the arts and/or demonstrating an art. The normal meaning in both everyday speech and academic discourse is a practitioner in the visual arts only. The term is often used in the entertainment business, especially in a business context, for musicians and other performers (less often for actors). "Artiste" (the French for artist) is a variant used in English only in this context. It's not just artists either, when you're working on anything thats important to you then you are focused, you are working towards a goal. When you finally achieve that goal then you get a sense of satisfaction and pride. However, as you have been so focused on this one thing, once it is completed it is natural to feel a bit empty without it. It'll pass, my advice would be to start a new project as soon as possible! Q. I've been getting really into the music by Sky Eats Airplane, Horse the Band, 100Deadrabbits!!!, and especially iamerror. I've been searching for a program that lets me make nintendo music similar to these bands. So far the only thing i have found is Mario Paint Composer and that just doesn't do the job for me. Anyone know what programs these artists use or a program that can help me make similar music?
